Joost Hogervorst is a Dutch artist. He was born and raised in the Zaan region in North Holland, named after the river Zaan and known for it´s windmills and de Zaanse Schans. He studied (Amsterdam Graphic School and business) and worked as a creative in Amsterdam and is now a full time artist between the windmills of the Zaan.

As he is always trying, experimenting and looking for new ideas, often surprising new art work appears. Most of his art work is colourful and has a friendly appeal. A journalist ones said, ´I can´t explain, it’s all different but it´s still all Joost Hogervorst´.
